If you write through the contact form, the email address, the optional phone number, the subject and the message you enter are used only to reply to you. The legal basis is your own request: answering your message or quote request.

Sending goes through Resend (an email delivery service), which technically processes the message content to deliver it to my mailbox. I don't use it for any other purpose and I don't share it with anyone.

The site is static: pages are ready-made files served by Vercel's CDN (behind Cloudflare's CDN and DNS). Fonts, images and scripts are hosted on the same domain, without calling third-party font services or libraries. Only three functions run on demand on Vercel's servers: sending the contact form, showing the phone number and the visitor counter.

As with any hosting, this involves the technical processing of the HTTP requests needed to serve you the pages (for example IP address and User-Agent), under each provider's policies. Where possible I prefer to run my own services (statistics included, see below): hosting and email are the two exceptions where relying on third parties is, for now, unavoidable.

The contact form and the display of my phone number are protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that the visitor is a real person without asking them to solve puzzles. The check starts only when you interact: hovering or focusing the "Show number" button, or submitting the form. Until then, no Cloudflare resource is loaded.

When it runs, Cloudflare receives technical data from your browser such as IP address, User-Agent and browsing signals, to tell people from bots; it may store technical verification data in your browser, which is not used to profile you. The legal basis is my legitimate interest in protecting the site and my contact details from abuse. The service is provided by Cloudflare: details about their processing are in Cloudflare's privacy policy.

The phone number is not in the page code: the server returns it only after the check has passed.

Visit statistics (page views, browser language, referrer) and a few usage events (opening a project, switching language, clicks on external links) are collected through OpenPanel, on infrastructure under my control, not through third-party services. The measurement script loads only after the page is ready, so it doesn't slow it down. I don't use tracking cookies: the data is aggregated and doesn't identify you personally.

The visitor counter in the footer is requested from my server only when you reach the bottom of the page; your browser sends nothing to external services to show it.

This site uses a single cookie, site_lang, which remembers the language (Italian or English): it is saved when you pick a language with the selector and, the first time, when the site takes you to the English version because your browser is set to English. It keeps you from being sent to the wrong language on later visits. It is strictly necessary for the site to work and doesn't require your consent under GDPR/ePrivacy rules.

No tracking, profiling or advertising cookies are set, either by me or by third parties. The only technical exception is the Cloudflare anti-bot check described above, which only protects the site and does not track you.

Messages received through the contact form stay in my inbox for as long as needed to handle the conversation, and are deleted once no longer necessary.
