Privacy
This site is a personal project, not a platform with accounts or sensitive data. Below I explain what data passes through it, why, and which third-party services get to see it in order to keep the site running.
Who processes the data
The data controller is Deyvid Manolov. For any question about this page or your data, you can write to contact@deyvid.dev.
Contact form
If you write through the contact form, the email address, subject and message you enter are used solely to reply to you.
Sending it goes through Zoho Mail (SMTP), which technically processes the message content in order to deliver it to my inbox. I don't use it for anything else and don't share it with anyone.
Site hosting
The site is hosted on Vercel, behind Cloudflare's CDN and DNS. As with any hosting, this involves the technical processing of the HTTP requests needed to serve you the pages (for example, IP address and User-Agent), per each provider's own policies.
Where I can, I prefer to run my own services (usage stats included, see below): hosting and email remain the two exceptions where relying on third parties is, for now, unavoidable.
Protection against automated traffic
The contact form is protected by Google reCAPTCHA, which analyzes the interaction to tell real people apart from bots. The service is provided by Google; details on that processing are in Google's own privacy policy and terms of service.
Usage statistics
Visit statistics (pages viewed, browser language, referral source) are collected through OpenPanel, running on infrastructure under my own control, not through a third-party service. I don't use tracking cookies: the data is aggregated and doesn't identify you personally.
Retention
Messages received through the contact form stay in my inbox for as long as needed to handle the conversation, and are deleted once no longer necessary.
Your rights
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of the data you've given me at any time, by writing to contact@deyvid.dev.
